Michelle Whitrock named as Harris Asst. Principal

The City of St. Charles School District is excited to announce that Michelle Whitrock has been selected to serve as the Harris Elementary and Monroe Elementary assistant principal, effective July 1, 2022. The District’s Board of Education approved the selection at its February 10, 2022 meeting.

Whitrock has been with the district since 2009 and currently serves as the RTI specialist at Harris Elementary.

“I'm very excited to take on this new leadership role at Harris and Monroe Elementary,” Whitrock said. “Being able to help guide some of our youngest students through these important years is truly an honor”

Whitrock holds four degrees: a Educational Specialist degree in School Administration from Lindenwood University, a Master of Arts in Education and Gifted Education from Lindenwood University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from University of Missouri-St. Louis.

“We are very excited for Michelle’s new role in the St. Charles School District family,” said Dr. Jason Sefrit, superintendent of schools. “She’s performed exceptionally in her many roles with the district since joining us 13 years ago and we’re confident she’ll excel in this position as well.”

Whitrock will be replacing Tiffanie Worland, who accepted the role of Monroe Elementary principal at the December Board of Education meeting.
