SCSD High schools in top 100

tp 100 The City of St. Charles School District is proud to announce that both St. Charles High and St. Charles West were listed as top 100 high schools in the state of Missouri by U.S. News and World Report. The annual rankings by the media company were released early morning on April 30, 2019.

“It’s great to see that both of our high schools are included in the best the state has to offer,” said Dr Jason Sefrit, Superintendent of Schools for the City of St. Charles School District. “The SCSD United plan continues to push our schools forward and that’s thanks to the buy-in from our students and staff.”

St. Charles West came in on #18 on the list of Missouri high schools and St. Charles High came in at #69.

The company’s proprietary scoring formula encompasses several weighted factors such as college readiness, reading and math proficiency, graduation rate and unserved student performance.

“This is just one of many ways our schools are measured,” Dr. Sefrit said. “No matter what the scores are, we use it as feedback for our improvement process moving forward. These good scores doesn’t mean our mission is complete.”
