Ms. Sue Hoernschemeyer

A native of St. Charles County, Ms. Hoernschemeyer (Ms. H) graduated from Francis Howell High School and Lindenwood University.  Upon graduation from college, Ms. H embarked on a career of helping people effectively use and fix their computers and other technologies.  Ms. H has over 30 years of experience repairing and maintaining computers and networks.  She’s worked for small and big companies including SSM Healthcare where she taught and trained technicians how to use high-tech medical equipment. Discovering her enjoyment of teaching, Ms. H brought her passion, expertise, and experience to Lewis & Clark where she has been teaching since 2008.  Since arriving here, she has earned her master’s degree in educational technology at the University of Central Missouri. Ms. H is also CompTIA A+ certified.

When she is not teaching (or helping friends and family with their computer issues), Ms. H. enjoys quilting, knitting, and reading as well as learning about new technology.  She has one daughter who is in graduate school in Indianapolis.

“I enjoy teaching kids who love computers as much as I do.  It’s rewarding to me to see the “I get it” moment when it all clicks.”
